After studying wild horse issues and challenges since 2015, I realized the greatest threat to their long-term survival is people and not a predator in nature.

Specifically elected officials and lawmakers have incredible control over the fate of all wild horses in America.

Based on decades of research starting in the 1970's, most advocates believe awareness is key to helping wild horses.  I believe one of the most important things we can do is help as many people as possible fall in love with wild horses because we know people protect what they love.  At some point in the future, it is inevitable our last remaining wild horses in Missouri will come under attack again, just like they did in the 1990's.  We know this is very likely because nothing ever stays the same over time.  There are wild horses right now under attack at Colorado's Mesa Verde N.P. and Theodore Roosevelt N.P. and it is not a big leap to think our wild horses in Missouri could be next.

In the end, the fate of our wild horses will come down to a legal battle and the support of American's that love wild horses.

3 WAYS YOU CAN TAKE ACTION & HELP

If you would like to help protect Missouri's wild horses, there are three actions today that you can take to help make a difference.

1 - Share my website, articles, and updates on Facebook and YouTube with your friends, family, and personal network.  This helps raise awareness and is very important because the more people know about the horses, the better chance we will have to protect them in the future.

2 - Buy Wild Horse Prints in sizes from 5x7 up to massive 40x60.  Bring the wild horses into your home or office to make your space beautiful.  You are making a statement that you support wild horses and this gives you a unique opportunity to help make your friends and family more aware.  The proceeds from your new artwork help fund the mission to protect the wild horses.  This is a win-win for everyone.

3 - Go and see the wild horses in person if you can.  Use my field guide to help you in your search.  By visiting the horses in person, you will instantly understand how valuable and important they are.
