Welcome To the Darkroom Underground Member Information Center

I appreciate your interest and enthusiasm for analog photography.  The Darkroom Underground Community is a fun place where serious analog photographers of all skill levels come together to share, learn, and support one another.  I sort of think of the community as a modern day version of the F64 club in some ways.

I started the Darkroom Underground Magazine in 2017 as a way to bring everyone together.  Now, we have grown to a level where we are a global community.  My primary reason for starting the magazine was to give film photographers an opportunity to share their best work with a global audience.

Photographers and artists in general understand the never-ending struggle with getting their photographs and other supporting works in front of people.  Marketing and advertising is a difficult road to travel for anyone, and especially for creative people that don't tend to possess all of the necessary skills to properly promote their work and offerings.  I am here to help change that by providing you a voice and exposure that you probably wouldn't get otherwise.  In order to become an active member in the Darkroom Underground Community, the quality of your work must meet the approval of your peers.  By ensuring your articles and videos meet high standards, you will be assured you are on the right track with your content.  The best part is, it doesn't cost you anything, and you get the benefit of getting your work in front of more people and have it peer reviewed by people you respect.  -Tim Layton
