Making Custom Handmade Reclaimed Wood Frames for my St. Francois Mountain Project

June 19, 2016  •  Leave a Comment

In this short video, I share an overview of the steps I have to do to create handmade frames for my St. Francois Mountain Platinum Histograph Heirloom Fine Art Prints project.  I only use reclaimed wood that I source from old barns or pallets.  I hope you enjoy the video and I look forward to your comments and questions.

Follow me on my St. Francois Mountain Pure Platinum Print Project where I am photographing the St. Francois Mountains that were formed by volcanic and intrusive activity 1.5 billion years ago.  By comparison, the Appalachians started forming about 460 million years ago, and the Rockies a mere 140 million years ago.
