My recent trip to the Great Smoky Mountains at the end of April was an amazing time to be there.  I planned several stops in the Cumberland Plateau area for rivers, creeks and waterfalls along my trip. It turns out that I like the Cumberland area for waterfalls much better than the Smokies.  I plan to return to the area and continue my exploration.  

My son and I were able to do a variety of hikes over a two week period in some of the best weather we could have hoped for.  The time together with him was very valuable to me.  

In the gallery (link below), I organized the short field video clip at the top, followed by the snapshots during our hikes and then my finished and edited photos last.
