New Facebook Group Dedicated to Large Format Analog Photography

November 24, 2015  •  Leave a Comment

There are some really good Facebook groups for large format photographers, but there was a gap in my mind for those of us that continue to work and create in the analog realm. While some photographers may choose to work in a variety of mediums, to include scanning their films and other outputs, I think that is all wonderful and good.  I wanted to create a place where we would share our analog work, learn from one another, and share in our adventures.

Join me in the Large Format Darkroom Photography Group.

Analog prints and work could range from traditional silver gelatin darkroom prints, to a wide variety of other processes like wet plate collodion, E-6 slides, direct positive prints, contact prints, enlargements, Lith prints, POP prints such as Salt, Van Dykes, Platinum, and many others.  If you create the print on a physical medium then we want to see your masterpiece and know more about how you created it.

I just ask that there are no scans of your work and ultimately modified by digital means.  A simple snapshot of your print or plate would be great!

All skill and experience levels are welcome.  I look forward to seeing your work and learning more about you as a photographer.
